Supervision & EMDR Consultation for Clinicians
Please reach out if you are interested in working together for supervision or consultation!
Training and Work Supervision
I have been an LPCC-S since 2014 and have experience providing training and work supervision for master’s level counseling interns and LPCs, as well as work supervision for some LSWs and MFTs. My focus in supervision is on collaboration, learning, and development, and I take a growth- and understanding-oriented approach to constructive feedback. Because we bring ourselves with us to this work, I believe that addressing balance and processing the experiences of the supervisee themselves in their clinical work is extremely important. Supervision orientations I draw from most are interpersonal, phase-oriented integrative (Ronnestad & Skovholt, 2003), supervisory-matrix-centered psychodynamic (Frawley-O’Dea & Sarnat, 2001). I also focus a great deal on language, clarity, and purpose in documentation.
My rate for training and work supervision is $100 per hour. This rate applies to and will be prorated for things like reviewing and signing clinical documentation, completing evaluations, or engaging in consultation outside of scheduled supervision sessions.
EMDR Consultation
I completed my EMDR foundation training in 2019 from the Institute for Creative Mindfulness, and completed full EMDR certification in 2024. I am currently an EMDR Consultant-in-Training, and am able to provide a limited number of consultation hours for EMDR clinicians working toward certification or in completing foundation training if your foundation trainer gives permission for us to work together (see EMDRIA guidelines for specifics). Lisa Hayes, MSW, LISW-S is the EMDR Consultant who primarily provides my consultation-of-consultation hours.
My rate for EMDR consultation as a Consultant-in-Training is $65 per hour for an individual session or $65 per 2 hour group consultation session.
Some of my areas of focus in EMDR therapy work include complex trauma, neurodiversity, body dysphoria and body autonomy, integration of somatic-focused mindfulness practices (iRest yoga nidra) with EMDR, anti-oppression orientation, and safety and emotion circuit work.
